Etek 2 noob question

I have a etek 2 and im still a little new at adjusting the settings on it and i was wondering what will adjusting my lpr effect?

LPR adjusts the air pressure moving the ram, which hits the valve open
lower lpr = less kick, inconsistent velocity at too low settings
higher lpr = more kick, better consistency

i usually find it best to not stray from factory settings

Yeah if you don't know what you're doing leave it stock. Planet eclipse markers are setup really, really well out of the box with factory settings.

Other than adding a new bolt, I still have not changed a single thing on my 08 Ego since I got it Jan of 2008.

yea i bought mine used so i was just wondering because its really loud and not as consistent as i would like so i wanted to know. thanks

Planet Eclipse markers are loud in general. The quietest one available right now would probably be the GEO or the EGO 10.
